Moments of Zen

I have discovered my place, and moment of zen occurs when everything I have is in its place, looks neat, and the is not clutter.
I realized this when I was doing my homework and having a hard time studying. Then I went to put my cup away, and ended up doing all the dishes and putting my books up. Finished my homework near after 30min. Amazing eh?

MechWarrior Online

Howdy folks! I have joined a mechwarrior clan, and have been playing for about two weeks. I am absolutely in love with Battletech since I was 10. I had the Battletech Compendium from 1990. State ran and social media

They have programmed us to the point where we don't realize certain things, and focus on crap that isn't news. We have been geared for hard hitting exciting news, when there is plenty to see that is disturbing, but no one cares or wants to know. It is very sad and depressing. The most recent development would be the gay marriage debate, while secretly, without much media attention, and any that was, was squelched, the genetically modified crops that were promised not to be put into production. This is a perfect example of censorship. The definition of censorship has been muddled these days in my opinion. We do not see these things either because we cannot understand them, or we do not want to understand them. Then our leaders are using that to their advantage. We have to open our eyes.

Meeting that hopeful Prospect only to blow it.

So, I ran into this problem, what do I have in my life, that is worthy to talk about with another person that I randomly meet, say a girl for instance? I was in Half-Priced Books, and I bumped into a beautiful red head girl in the gardening section; I wanted to see if I could find anything on growing food. Well, we both giggled said we're sorry, and moved on. So later I run into her again in the fiction section and decided to talk bit. Well, I got a bit of something out of her as far as her book, but then I walked off, and came back like a retarded little boy talking about music, and then fantasy books, and then I left feeling embarrassed. Well, I came to the conclusion that I don't have much to talk about. "Hey, wanna hear me blab about musical theory? How about my Warhammer 40k collection, or my Halo collection, or my Star Wars collection, or my Battletech collection? I also have a bunch of books about Halo, or Warhammer, or of the such. Interested?" Not so much. I don't have much to share with a person right off the bat. I am also a horrible conversationalist when it comes to breaking the ice outside of my realm. I should make up cue cards of topic starters, breakers, and avoiders all together for each conversation. Something that I could review before each encounter, and also take notes on. Maybe some ideas of funny things to make them laugh, I don't know.

All I do know, is I technically hate people. Especially stupid people, and ignorant people. Unless there is something we click about, or we're forced to spend time together, you're probably not going to get to know me.

Straight Razor Shaving

I recently started shaving with a straight blade razor, and I'll say, you get what you pay for, but it lasts for a long time if you take care of it. More updated information to come, and probably some pictures.

 Before I shave, I strop the blade on my leather strop. Using the canvas side first, then on the leather side. This sharpens the blade.

 Here are the steps that i use to shave with.

 1.) Take a hot shower, or use a hot wash cloth laid across your face
    A.) You can either make a hot towel using a steamer
    B.) Soak wash cloth in cold water, then microwave the towel for 30 seconds. Renuke as necessary.
2.) Prepare shaving cream/soap lather
    A.) Use a bowl to work lather and make it big and froathie.
    B.) Use the brush to apply lather to your face
    C.) A good idea is to lather just sections you want to shave
3.) Apply facial oil to all of neck and face
    A.) Make sure you can create an oily layer on your face
4.) Thoroughly apply lather with brush
5.) Use the same hand as the side of your face to shave.
6.) Use your opposite hand to pull the skin tight
7.) Shave with the grain of your hair
8.) Reapply lather
9.) Shave against the grain
10.) Reapply lather
11.) Shave with the grain
12.) Wash off your face
13.) Apply Alum block to cuts and all over face with cold water
14.) Apply after shave lotion or cream
